The company aims to invest Rs 100 crore in phases to boost its infrastructure and increase its production capacity in India.
NEW DELHI: Profine India, a manufacturer of u-PVC doors and windows, is expecting a growth of 20-25% in the next one year, informed Farid Khan, director & CEO, Profine India.
“The demand and awareness about u-PVC doors and windows has increased tremendously in the last few years. Today u-PVC doors and windows occupy second place behind Aluminium doors and windows when it comes to demand,” said Khan.
The company recently inaugurated its Koemmerling extrusion facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. The facility developed in 20,000 sq mt will help the company enhance its existing production capacity to 6000 MT of u-PVC profiles.
“Profine’s gradual expansion in India has already secured an investment of approximately Rs 100 crore till date. The company is eyeing a turnover of around Rs 350 crore by 2022. It will invest Rs 100 crore in phases to boost its infrastructure and increase its production capacity in India,” the company said in a statement.
The new facility holds the capacity of installing up to 15 lines that can produce 15000 MT of u-PVC profiles per annum.
Talking about Profine’s future plans, Peter Mrosik, owner & CEO, Profine GmbH said, “We have been in the country for 12 years. With the new plant, we are taking another step and underline our long-term commitment to the growth market of India.”
The slump in the real estate market however has impacted the u-PVC industry as well. “Since the last one year, while the turnover is there, the credit period has increased,” said Khan. He however adds that reforms will only benefit the industry in the long term.
